Brahmam Talent High School uses the right balance of Assessment & Evaluation techniques to monitor the progress of its students. Each child’s progress is evaluated to arrive at an objective analysis which will allow (i) a teacher to know how well (s)he has put across an idea or theory; (ii) the student to know where (s)he stands, & what his/her weak areas are;(iii) the school to help the students perform better.
BTHS has formulated unique tools and instruments which help map a child’s learning progress and competency profile in a comprehensive manner. The student’s academic performance is measured on a regular basis (weekly/monthly). The School follows a three-term system with unit tests being held every month. Hence, there is continuous assessment of the child. The School conducts two term examinations and 3 unit tests for classes I to X.
The progress toward meeting the student’s goals is measured by comparing expected and actual rates of learning as reflected by the assessments. Based on measured results, teaching is adjusted accordingly to meet the individual students learning needs.
