True education, it has been said, consists not in looking in a book to find the answer, but in knowing which book to look into. If that is true, the place we will most likely find that book is in the library. Getting students to understand how the school library functions and then to use that library is a gift that teacher can give to their students that will serve them throughout their lives.
It is equally important to take care and maintain the books for which some rules are strictly followed in our school.
Library Rules
When students use library books or other library materials, they agree to be responsible for any loss or damage caused to them. It is the duty of every student to return back the study materials in good condition within the due date.
Books are not to be tossed around, dropped or marked with pen/pencil.
Textbooks must be returned on time so they are available to be checked out to other students.
Lost Books
Students will be charged the full replacement cost of any library book they lose while it is checked out to them.
Students may not check out a second textbook until a payment has been done for the first one.
Damage Charges
Students have one week to return to the library to report any book that is checked out in damaged condition. The library staff encourages students and staff to take the utmost care to avoid losing or damaging library books.
